Back Home with Sheli

Whew! What a trip it was! Luckily driving 22 hours round trip was not so bad since I checked out an audio book, "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte to listen to all the way. What a WONDERFUL book. I loved it! If you haven't ever read it...well...no wonder it's a classic!

We got home Thursday night and unloaded all but the mattress. We had to wait on Tony and Brett to return from their travels the next day to help with that. You should have seen the mess we have been sorting through and organizing. I am happy to say I am done! Closets are more packed than they were and the kitchen pantry, but remarkably we were able to get Sheli neatly packed into her room. Poor thing has really stepped down from the Taj Mahal closet she had while we lived in Auburn. She has already been to a college Bible study with some Southside folks and is going to a bbq at a Decker-Prairie kid's house tonight with all the DP kids including Brett. Life is good. Tony and I are going to Sambuka's this evening with some other couples before they all head out to see "Wicked" afterwards. We had to pass on the show for now, seeing as we have two poor college students in the house. Don't worry...I'll just add that to my list of things I want to do after I get out and start making a paycheck again! :)

May you have wind beneath your wings as you pursue to excel each day of life! The "wind" is, foremost, our God (Isaiah 40:31) but also those "balcony people" who cheer us on. I love you and wish to encourage you to be ALL you can be...every talent utilized, all of your heart full of love, and every thought captive to Christ. May God bless YOU!
